Happy New Year!

2012 was a good year, but to be honest I'm a little glad it's over! It was a big transition year for me (and JPress) and I feel as if I finally have got the swing of things and I am eager to begin the new year! I'm not so much of a New Year's Resolution person, but I do have several goals outlined for the 1st quarter and I'll be eager to share them with you once they come to fruition. Stay tuned for lots more exciting stuff as I expand my line and thanks for your continued support! I couldn't have done it without you!

Happy New Year!

Happy Holidays, y'all!

Holiday Jamz

I don't think I own any Christmas music (although I do love it), so Pandora to the rescue! I usually stick to Rockin' Holidays with a dash of Indie Holidays, but this year I'm in a Motown mood and Carla Thomas Holiday has really been delivering.

Otis Redding, James Brown, The Ronnetts, Louie Armstrong and Billie Holiday are just a few of the artists featured and it's great! Be sure to check it out!

Dorothy was right

There's no place like home!

Also been keeping me bust this season are custom house portraits - which I LOVE! I love receiving photos of people's homes from all over the country. I love drawing the homes with my special folk touch and maybe adding a pup or kitty. I love that people are giving them as gifts and they will have them hanging in their homes... I just love everything about them!

To order one for yourself (or someone else!) check out my shop here. It's too late for this year, but keep them in mind for the future. They make great wedding or Mother's Day gifts!

Merry! Merry!

Whew! It has been a crazy season for me this year! It's all good (I'd rather be busy...) but that means that I neglect other aspects of my life (like blogging - and cleaning - and cooking, but I digress...) So, to make up for my lack of blogging I am just going to blow it out today. Like, end of the fireworks show kinda blow out. So get ready!

To start out, check out the below samplings of various holiday cards I've done this year!
Enjoy!

Custom design for the bro. Think I'm going to have to make this into artwork or something. I like it.

By far my most popular design this year.

I was pretty obsessed with Chalkboard this year. Love it with the hand drawn frames!

Custom pup illustration! Lurve!

Again with the Chalkboard!

Birth announcement + holiday card - genius!

She bought a house portrait and incorporated it into her holiday cards! Perfect!
