As Seen on TV: Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn

Nicky, Ricky, Dicky and Dawn is the number one show on Nickelodeon right now (which, as I understand, is a big deal for a live-action show). It follows the Harper family and their quadruplets, who don't have much in common (besides their birthday). Sibling rivalry often consumes the quadruplets, but they can come together to solve problems that arise. It's a hoot and I'm super proud to be a part of it.

About a year ago I was contacted by one of the show's producers who was interested in my custom silhouettes. She explained it was for the set of a new show on Nickelodeon and asked if I would be willing to participate. I clearly said yes and we went to work!

She sent me the photos of the yet unknown stars and I quickly designed the art (they needed it in a hurry, of course) and they were framed and hung on the set!

You can watch the show Saturday nights on Nickelodeon and see more of my custom silhouette work in my Etsy Shop

Oakland Art Murmur + The 25th Street Collective

I am crazy exciting to be participating in the Oakland Art Murmur this Friday night via the 25th Street Collective. 25C is a collective of Bay Area artisans featuring such talents as hiroko kurihara designs, 2 Mile WinesGhEttO GoLdiLockssabrina fair | hackeryLa Maison VioletteCIRCLE SQUARE and Laurie b.

I will have a smattering of pieces including paintings, house portraits, prints and some stationery and other small items as well.  As an amuse bouche, take a peek at a new piece I've been working on to display at the show.

See you Friday!
