This past weekend we hopped in the car and drove to Destin, Florida to spend a long(ish) weekend with our good friends Paula and Doug.
It was an amazing weekend which included, but was not limited to: air brush hats (misspelling intentional!), an artists market, incredible seafood, kite flying, relaxing on the beach, sunset bocce ball tournament (won by Yours Truly), card playing and watching Paula absolutely slay Mrs. Pac Man - seriously, she beat the top score with one quarter! I've never seen anything like it!
It was a terrific weekend which reminded me of the importance of staying in touch with old friends (Paula) and making new ones (Doug)! Now, back to work (sigh...)
