For my birthday my brother (hi, Chicken!) gave me an awesome book: Paris vs. New York - a Tally of Two Cities. He currently lives (and I used to) in New York and I had recently visited Paris, so it was a super thoughtful and creative present. The book is a friendly visual match between two cities told by a lover of Paris wandering through NewYork highlighting details, clichés and contradictions. It is written and illustrated by French graphic designer Vahram Muratyan and it is an absolute delight! I love the colorful illustrations and the whimsy content.
